Application for Student Travel Grant

16th North American Arctic Goose Conference

We will award $1,500 CAD to every student who wishes to attend. For criteria, they need to be enrolled or have completed their degree since the 15th NAAG in December 2022.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must

  1. be a student currently enrolled in a college or university in a BS, MS or PhD program or a graduate that completed his or her degree requirements within 1 year of the current NAAG
  2. have a presentation or poster selected for presentation, and
  3. be presenting their own research at NAAG as primary author.

Application Materials: In addition to your presentation or poster abstract include

  1. A current resume or CV.
  2. A summary of travel support from other sources.
  3. Amount (up to $1500 CAD) of travel grant requested.
  4. Submit materials by (deadline coming soon)

If a student presentation is selected by the Science Program Committee for presentation at NAAG, the student’s application materials will be forwarded to the co-chairs of the Student Awards Committee,  more details coming soon.
