Application for Student Travel Grant

14th North American Arctic Goose Conference

Travel grants of up to $500 will be awarded to a limited number of students presenting a technical paper or poster.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must

  1. be a student currently enrolled in a college or university in a BS, MS or PhD program or a graduate that completed his or her degree requirements within 1 year of the current NAAG
  2. have a presentation or poster selected for presentation, and
  3. be presenting their own research at NAAG as primary author.

Application Materials: In addition to your presentation or poster abstract include

  1. A current resume or CV.
  2. A summary of travel support from other sources.
  3. Amount (up to $500) of travel grant requested.
  4. Submit materials by January 15, 2018.

If a student presentation is selected by the Science Program Committee for presentation at NAAG, the student’s application materials will be forwarded to the co-chairs of the Student Awards Committee,  Ken Abraham, Susan Felege, and Chris Nicolai  for consideration.

Award notification will go out February 1, 2018.
